The one government agency not affected by the sequester or the shutdown is Do Not Call Enforcement. They never did anything anyway, and they're still doing it.

THIS IS THE CENTER FOR DISEASE CONTROL. Just talk to them, if you don't want to participate they will take you out of the system. They are just doing a survey on immunizations and illnesses to help study dangerous viruses/diseases so they can keep our children safe. They survey takes a while but it is well worth it to keep our children healthy

******** keep calling my cell phone while I am at work and can not answer it. They don't leave a voicemail, so I know it's nothing important. I tried calling it back after I had 21 missed calls from them, but got no answer. Finally, it sounded like someone accidentally answered and he was so foreign that I couldn't understand him and all I could really make out was the sound of him trying to figure out what to say. Then he hung up and wouldn't answer again. Probably a scam Get your number on the Do Not Call list and report them every single time they call

My CID said name IPSOS. Beware They Are Not Who They Claim To Be - This Is A Subversive Attempt To Verify Who You Are.The Only Way To Stop These Kinds Of Calls Is To Make Them Pay. Always Answer - They Have To Pay For Completed Call Plus Their Wasted Time. Keep Them Talking As Long As Possible With Fake Info So They Have To Pay More.
