This man called to schedule my medical alert system. I told him I did not order one. He kept talking explaining that someone had fallen in my house and needed the medical alert, it was already paid for and they would install it whenever I wanted. I told him he had the wrong number and he just kept saying Its already paid for and we want to install it He kept talking over me and I hung up on him. I called the number back and got a recording IF you do not want to receive our special promotions input your number on our Do Not Call list. I figured it was just another scam to get your phone number so I hung up. (I did *67 from my phone so my phone numer was blocked).d

I keep getting these calls from NASSAUZN01NY too. I have no idea who they are or what they want because they don't bother to leave a message. It should be really simple. If you need to reach me and I don't pick up, leave voicemail. That's what it's there for. If you explain your purpose and I want to talk to you about it, I'll call you back. If I don't call you back, then I'm not interested in talking about it. If you won't even bother to leave voicemail, that tells me right there that it's not something I will want to talk to you about. Calling me over and over won't change that--it will only confirm that I don't want to talk to you. If you're a robocaller and that's why you don't/can't leave voicemail, then I'm quite certain I don't want to talk to you. I think robocalling should be banned except for emergency warnings from local government in case of hurricanes or other possible disasters.

We have the number blocked on a Panasonic phone. The phone gives a blocked caller a busy signal. (It also rings once, so it interrupts us every time a blocked call comes in -- not the greatest design for a phone.) Guess these jerks think the busy signal means try again, because they keep calling every few minutes. It's like Ann says below -- they're calling over and over and over, at 3 minute intervals.
